Spicy Peanut Sauce

Spicy Peanut Sauce

While Spicy Peanut Sauce isn't exactly a 'traditional' family dish of ours, it has become a family favorite. The creaminess of the peanut butter that also adds a bit of sweet mixed in with a little kick from your favorite hot sauce or Sriracha and the added crunch of crushed peanuts on top make this a savory sauce that everyone will love! We almost always eat it with some kind of noodles with steamed vegetables and grilled chicken. It takes minutes to make! While all of the other ingredients are delicious, this recipe for spicy peanut sauce is always the star of the show!

Spicy Peanut Sauce with extra hot sauce

1/2 cup peanut butter

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sugar

Several drops to taste of hot sauce or sriracha (we used CHA! Sriracha by Texas Pete).

1 to 2 tbsp crushed peanuts

*optional - garlic powder to taste (we used Outerspice Spicy spice blend)

Combine peanut butter, soy sauce, sugar, hot sauce, and whisk in a medium bowl until well blended.

Add in optional garlic powder and whisk more until smooth.

Transfer to serving dish and blend on more time then add crushed peanuts on top.

We served ours over noodles, steamed vegetables, and baked chicken with sesame seeds.
