The Art of PIZZA

PIZZA! Glorious pizza! It is undoubtedly one of America's most favorite foods. With about 350 slices being eaten per second, we decided it was time to go BIG with our own approach to creating our favorite pie. Some of us here at Real Food Real Kitchens like to go the traditional route: tomato sauce, mozzerella cheese, and pepperoni. Some of us get a little more adventurous with gorgonzola cheese, pineapple, and prosciutto.

There is no wrong way to make a pizza pie so whichever way you fancy yours is what's right for you. We did a little research and came up with this cool infographic that lists all kinds of combinations of toppings and sauces. On our pizza (*picture in the middle of the infographic), we went with the following: a ready-made Rustic Crust pizza crust, Rustic Crust pizza sauce, Treasure Cave gorgonzola cheese, Pearls black olives, candied pears, spinach, and red onion. It was delicious!
