The first two months of 2014 have been a foodie blast with food festivals and gatherings galore. From Clearwater Beach to San Francisco, Real Food Real Kitchens has been running non-stop to get our fill on all of what's new and up and coming in the food world. While our hearts are in traditional family dishes, we are eager to stay connected to the food movement as a whole and thankfully this weekend the Downtown Orlando Food & Wine Festival is taking place in our own backyard!
This festival has quickly become a weekend long tradition and continues in 2014, as more than 20,000 foodies and wine lovers experience unique local cuisine paired with wines from around the globe. This year the sixth annual festival takes place on Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23, 2014 and is going to be filled with food and fun!
Located in the heart of downtown Orlando at Lake Eola on Robinson Street, the two-day Fest features mouth-watering dishes from 35 of Orlando’s premier restaurants, domestic and international wines, and live entertainment.
Look for samples from restaurants like: Dexter's of Thorton Park, Tijuana Flats, Bananas (one of our personal faves), and many others. Real Food Real Kitchens will be on hand live tweeting and instagram-ing some delicious pics so if you see us be sure to say HI!
