Looking for the perfect bottle (or two) of wine to bring to Holiday parties this year? Perhaps for a gift or even a glass or two for yourself to cozy up with this winter? The Dreaming Tree wines, a collection of California-based wines from world-renowned musician Dave Matthews and award-winning winemaker Steve Reeder, are a perfect and affordable option (available nationwide for $14.99, we got our bottles at Target).
Both wines we tried were easily approachable, non-pretentious, and delicious. The red 'Crush' was smooth, slightly dry with a light flavor of cranberry to it. It was an easily drinkable wine good with dinner or just to have a glass or two to unwind. The Chardonnay was a perfectly light, 'Florida' wine, bringing that citrus like tang to the palette. This is the kind of wine everyone in our Florida office enjoys regularly :O)
Even better, both wines were incredibly food-friendly. We paired the red 'Crush' up with one of our favorite recipes Rack of Lamb with Mint Yogurt. The Chardonnay went perfect with our recipes for African Vegetable Curry and Grilled Snapper & Mahi Mahi with Citrus Avocado Salsa, we wouldn't have it any other way now.
Besides just the taste there are many reason why the Dreaming Tree wines are an excellent buy. Even better, the Dreaming Tree wines are committed to sustainability as the natural cork closure is sustainably grown, the bottle’s label is made with 100% recycled kraft brown paper, and the bottles are made using clean burning natural gas.
