Whew! We're glad this one has been put to rest in our favor! After a barrage of internet chatter about Makers Mark reducing the proof in their 'loved-by-many' whiskey, the end result was that it was essentially a joke on us, the consumer.
After a trip to our local liquor store to see if we could score some bottles for back-up, the shelves were EMPTY! What a brilliant way to make people buy more bottles of the brown elixir before the "new diluted" bottles would 'come out'.
